WHO IS THIS FOR?

Beginners- Whether you're an adult beginner exploring a new and exciting hobby or a young singer curious about classical music, you’ll be guided through the essential fundamentals. With a focus on building a strong, healthy, and reliable technique, we’ll explore simple yet beautiful repertoire to help you begin discovering your unique voice.

Intermediate/ Music Majors- Between you and me, most of my students are university singers who feel like something is missing from their education. If your instincts tell you there’s more to learn from the operatic greats of the early 20th century, then you’ve come to the right place- we’ll be an excellent fit!

Advanced/ Professionals- You already know how to sing, but now you’re ready to refine your sound- developing a richer pharyngeal resonance, exploring affondo technique, and strengthening your chest voice. If you're a spinto or dramatic singer, you need techniques that truly showcase your voice’s power and depth.

Singers struggling with their confidence- Singing is as much mental as it is technical. If self-doubt is holding you back, you’re not alone- and you don’t have to stay stuck. My studio provides a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your voice without fear. I have given presentations to groups of singers worldwide about tackling the psychological challenges of performing, I can help you build confidence and overcome any setbacks you may be facing.

MY TEACHING APPROACH

My teaching approach blends the best of both worlds; cutting-edge vocal science and the disappearing knowledge of the old-school operatic tradition. As a fourth-generation Melocchi teacher, I am dedicated to preserving and passing down this disappearing technique, ensuring singers develop a powerful, resonant, and sustainable voice. I also recognize that singing is deeply psychological, incorporating performance psychology to help students overcome mental barriers and sing with confidence and freedom.
